VWBarBus

Way back when I was 25 I had the dream to own my own business but it had to be fun, unique, incorporate the things I loved like food, cocktails, music etc. and just bring people joy. I spent years playing music in and selling craft beer to some of the greatest restaurants in New England learning what made bars great. Always asking how could I do something like this always getting caught up in some ridiculous fantasy world that totally couldn’t happen because of zoning or something.

One night I was sitting with a an owner of a bar and was just asking wouldn’t it be fun to just drive to someones house and open your bar for a party? This was way before the horse trailer popularity of today. At this point I never created a business plan but he gave me the structure to put one together and told me to research it. It had to be unique I had seen a few VW Bus Bars around the world and decided that it was time Connecticut had one. No money, no understanding of how to find funding or to start had me moth ball the whole project while I learned how to start a business from scratch.

Years went by and I met Natasha and one night I told her about a few of the businesses I always wanted to start. I think the bar bus was the last one thinking it was the dumbest one
